about the program
Do you have a son or daughter heading off to university, college or simply leaving home? If so, then you’ll want to read on! These 1 hour sessions will help prepare your young adult to manage their finances when living on their own. There are no financial or income restrictions – everyone is welcome.
Primer for Life is an interactive, four to five-week program that offers students a chance to learn about their relationship with money, consumerism, budgeting, saving and investing.

Know when it’s appropriate to save in a RRSP, TFSA, RESP and RDSP
Identify different types of financial scams and know how to avoid them
