Launch Okanagan hosts Financial Literacy Breakfast with Kelley Keehn

On November 8th, we celebrated Financial Literacy Month with 150+ guests from the finance, non-profit and business community. Guests were treated to a wonderful breakfast at the Coast Capri Hotel and learned more about the work of Launch Okanagan and the importance of finance literacy in our community.
Due to inclement weather, Kelley Keehn was unable to fly in from Edmonton so she joined us virtually and delivered her entertaining and informative presentation: The Prosperity Factor. Kelley is a best-selling author, personal finance expert and national media personality. We were lucky to have her join us despite mother nature’s interruptions! The breakfast fundraiser offered guests an opportunity to join our 50/50 draw or double your donation. It’s not too late to join the draw which is now well over $1000 with half going to the lucky winner and the other half will support our Matched Savings program. Draw ends November 9th at midnight and the draw will be done live on Thursday a.m. at the Coast Capri Hotel.
