Canada Child Benefit

Tax-free monthly payments for families to help with the cost of raising children.

GST/HST Credit

A tax-free quarterly payment that helps individuals and families with modest incomes offset all or part of the GST or HST they pay.

Working Benefit

A refundable tax credit that provides tax relief for eligible working individuals and families.

BC Renter’s Tax Credit

The B.C. renter’s tax credit offers up to $400 year to eligible renters who lived in a B.C. rental unit for at least six months.

After filing, we can provide copies of your Notice of Assessment (NOA) for current and previous years.

What to Bring

To ensure we can file your return accurately and efficiently, please have the following documents ready for your appointment:

  • Information slips (T4, T4A, T5, T5007, etc.
  • Government-issued Photo ID
  • Medical expense receipts
  • Tuition slips (T2202)
  • Social Insurance Number (SIN)
  • Rental information for 6-12months
  • Childcare expense receipts
  • Direct deposit information
Note: Our volunteers cannot file returns for those who are self-employed, have business or rental income, or have declared bankruptcy in the current year.
